Online Scrum and Agile Training

Last few months I have been doing a couple online courses from Front Row Agile.

Founded by Agile education veteran Mike Cohn, Front Row Agile fills the gap in Agile training by offering self-paced on-demand learning. Their goal is to collect top-notch course material from the savviest Agile thinkers in one place so you can learn when and where it suits you.

Currently they have around 20 different courses available ranging from Agile Estimation and Planning to SAFe. See for a detailed list. Instructors are well known people in the Agile world like Mike Cohn, Ilan Goldstein and Dean Leffingwell.

Taking a Front Row Agile course is simple. To get started, just create an account and pick the course you want to begin with. You can earn Scrum Education Units® (SEUs) when you take training from Front Row Agile. Each course is unique, so be sure to check whether the course is eligible for SEUs by reviewing the course page. In general, on-demand training is acceptable for SEUs, typically at a ratio of 1:1, where one hour of training = one SEU.

Besides being a fan of online traning I am positively surpised by the quality and dept of the available courses. Two courses I personally liked a lot are "Agile Estimating and Planning" from Mike Cohn and "Scrum Mastery: From Good To Great Servant-Leadership" from Geoff Watts. All in all I can really recommend Front Row Agile to anybody who wants to look into Agile training beyond the standard ScrumMaster or Scrum Product Owner courses available on the market.
